How to beat the boredom during this pandemic and stay healthy through utilisation of local tourism and adventures.

Go on an adventure

There's a well established interrelationship between travel & adventure and health. The  pandemic has made tourism almost imposible taking into account the risks involved. It has brought business to a standstill due to it's deadly and ravaging tendencies. People are working from home now more than ever so as to reduce the spreading of this invisible enemy. Being confined and isolated at home is boring and health threatening so it's time to appreciate your local sorroundings
i.e go hunting, rock climbing, traverse the thickets create memories and mingle with nature.

The Zimbabwe landscape is one of the best in Africa if not the world as it is endowed with everything be it wetlands, thickets, mountains, wild animals, wild fruits and grasslands. One can simply walk a few kilometers from their locality and discover a lot of interesting things our great country has to offer.

The benefits of going out during this pandemic have gained stacks compared to when everything was normal. If you are an outgoing person consider reducing your movements and stay with regulations. Explore and exploit the works of mother nature as this surely contributes to wellness and fitness to some extent.

Below we try and explain the interrelationship between health/wellness/fitness/wellbeing.

Relives stress/stress free environment
Being at home 24/7 can be frustrating and energy draining due to piled responsibilities and pressure. This can come from bills and other house related responsibilities like cooking and washing clothes. Going out into the woods makes sure that you are off the hook and stress free and your health is not disturbed as you enjoy the mother nature's touch. This also reduces the chances of you gaining weight and becoming obsess.

Move your body more!
A date with nature makes sure you don't stay idle at home, you move more and you burn more of your fats. This keeps you a step ahead of diseases related to body idleness diseases like hypertension , diabetes and obesity. This also preserves your looks and keeps you in shape.

Build social connections
When you go out, remember to take some few friends with youvso that you catch up and help each other have an unforgettable outing. Talking to your friends has a psychological effect which relaxes your mind thereby promoting your mental wellness. Do this often and see how you will realize that happiness is not all about money but your environment.

Eat the natural fruits of th jungle
Fruits have different beneficial effects to the body, fruits contain vitamins and vitamins are known to boost the body's defense system. Eat these fruits and bring some home. Naturally fruits taste different compared to any exotic fruits we may find. This will also serve as education to your kids that we might have mangoes, oranges and apples but Africa is rich with fruits like snout apples, hwakwa, madhoti embwa and tsubvu.
They all have medical and herbal effect.

Finally appreciating our environments will eventually lead to preservation of our natural given resources as we grow to appreciate the role it plays in our lives.
