Fig 1.0 Go on an adventure There's a well established interrelationship between travel & adventure and health. The  pandemic has made tourism almost imposible taking into account the risks involved. It has brought business to a standstill due to it's deadly and ravaging tendencies. People are working from home now more than ever so as to reduce the spreading of this invisible enemy. Being confined and isolated at home is boring and health threatening so it's time to appreciate your local sorroundings i.e go hunting, rock climbing, traverse the thickets create memories and mingle with nature. The Zimbabwe landscape is one of the best in Africa if not the world as it is endowed with everything be it wetlands, thickets, mountains, wild animals, wild fruits and grasslands. One can simply walk a few kilometers from their locality and discover a lot of interesting things our great country has to offer.  Fig 1.1 Enjoying a cool breeze on the rocks. How to keep yourself in great shape despite your busy schedule?

With a little bit of creativity, resourcefulness and commitment, there are still many ways to workout despite your daily tight schedule. Remember consistency is key to successful daily habits. Workout regularly until it becomes second nature to you, regular workouts help you improve and  maintain your overall health while in great shape.
Below are some great tips you may find helpful, grab your notepad folks....!

I begin....

1.Choose the best gym time.
Folks you don't  necessarily have to go to the gym, improvise! It's a diabolic myth that to for you to exercise you have to have gym equipment or be at the gym,No.You can do simple but effective workouts like aerobics, yoga and using homemade weights or join a virtual gym especially in this coronavirus period!
Pertaining your busy tight schedule, choose the best time of your day to do workouts...be it in the morning before doing your tasks or the afternoon or evening after work. Adopt and adapt to the daily setup you have chosen for yourself and nail it till it becomes your culture. Workouts are not like your husband ,wife or girlfriend you can cheat on easily ,in this game you reap what you sow...if you cheat your body and health will betray you.

2.Maximise your gym time.
A gym is not a place to look for nice butts , handsome boys or sexy vixens folks! "If i see you staring at her butt i will smack you boy",said my instructor. It's not like i love butts though!
Hey,if your schedule allows you an hour to work out make the best of it boy! Make sure you utilize the time to the fullest.Do specific exercises that involve multiple muscle groups at once and burn as many calories as possible during your short time this way you will stay in the loop and look great like me😁.

3.Find a gym buddy.
Avoid going to the gym with your lazy and talkative friend, you will regret it.That lazybones will make your gym experience horrible and terrible.Find some who's goal oriented and determined to achieve more at the gym,you could befriend an ambitious but realistic friend whose goal is to achieve so much in the given time. Finding a gym buddy means socialisation and catch up happens automatically thereby helping you with stress relief. Remember laughing is a form of exercising but it won't give you a great shape or abs 🤭

4.Use commuting time to exercise
First of all if you want a great body shape, bin that laziness mentality because it demands most of your effort. Instead of hopping into that much loved car of yours, grab your bicycle! Riding a bike puts most of most muscles are in action thereby burning a lot of calories in the process. Did you know your legs are meant for walking? Well just a reminder. And yes I'm sure you get what I'm trying to say, sometimes walk it also burn the excess calories in your body.

5.Be on the lookout for your diet!
In the article What is balanced diet?,we stressed the need for a well balanced diet.We talked about empty calories i.e your pizzas, ice cream etc..these foods are sugary and contain too much calories that add nothing to your body but excess fat thereby putting you at risk of contracting diseases like obesity, type 2 diabetes and hypertension. This tend to shorten your lifespan and putting at risk of infections and poor body development. Eat less fats, less carbohydrates and more of vegetables and drink lots of water folks, remember it's an anti-aging agent.
